Power Gear added Dewald Manufacturing in 2001. Kwikee Products, founded in 1969, was purchased in 2003 and has grown to be the industry leader in electric steps, and cargo storage solutions. This combination of companies created an Actuation Systems division under Power Gear that leads the market with innovative ideas and quality products for the RV and Aftermarket Specialty Vehicle markets.
